Tablescapes are one of my favorite ways to decorate during the holidays. Since our dining area is truly the heart of our home, it is usually always a goal of mine to make a statement in this area as each season passes. This year’s design aspect was to piece something together that was easy and inexpensive. Today, I’m sharing how to set up a simple, natural table for your home this Autumn season!
My vision for this table began when my husband brought home these majestic, white, reindeer antlers that were gifted from his Uncle Tralles.
I also knew that I wanted some varying heights throughout my table, so I purchased the cake stand below from HomeGoods to elevate my pumpkin floral arrangement.
After that I placed a candle stick on each side of the pumpkin floral arrangement, then sprinkled some pinecones and silver dollar eucalyptus throughout the table – getting thinner as I reached each edge.
Then I finally added some mercury votives to each end to finish off the look.
This year I also decided to set my table with the Emma dinnerware set Brett and I received as a wedding gift. I played around with the napkin placement to show you a few different ways to display your dinnerware. And finally, topped each place setting with a tiny white pumpkin.
I then placed a few more pumpkins on our fireplace mantel to pull the entire space together.
By using items I already had and by embracing the natural gifts of mother nature, I was able to keep the cost of this year’s design to a minimum.
I set this table up a week ago, and I can’t help but smile each time I pass it every day. I hope that my table setting can be of inspiration to you as we enter the cooler months. Now go set yourself up a nice, pretty table. Email me pictures and definitely let me know if you have any questions. Happy fall ya’ll!
